Other Supplies You’ll Need:

  • Nail-polish remover (acetone)
  • Cotton pads
  • Isopropyl alcohol
  • Nail clippers
  • Nail buffer with rough and soft side (100/180 grit)
  • Cuticle pusher and nipper
  • Pro Tool: Use a flat brush for polish touchup when painting

Step 1. Soak your feet for a maximum of five minutes to help soften the skin. Once your feet have soaked, pat them dry with a towel.

Step 1

Step 2. If you already have nail polish on your toes, remove the old polish with a cotton pad soaked in polish remover (acetone).

Step 3. Trim your toenails with the nail clipper. To prevent ingrown toenails, cut your toenail straight across in small sections.

Step 4. File your toenails while holding the file at a 90-degree angle to avoid rounding the nail. Run your fingers across the nail to make sure there are no sharp edges. Once you’ve done this, place your feet back in water to soak for another two minutes.

Step 4

Step 5. Remove your feet from the water and pat them dry. Use the cuticle pusher or orangewood stick to push your cuticles back off your nail plate. Use the opposite end of the cuticle pusher or orangewood stick to clean underneath the toenail.

Optional: Dampen your feet and use the softer side of the foot file to smooth the dry skin on your feet. The damper your feet are, the easier it is to buff. Be careful not to overfile any callouses.

Step 6. Buff your toenails with the buffer to shape the nail and smooth out any rough edges.

Step 7. Use our MiniLuxe Exfoliating Sugar Scrub (Fresh or Citrus) to help smooth and remove the extra dead skin on your feet. After that, soak your feet again to remove the Sugar Scrub and then pat dry with a towel.

Step 8. Hydrate your cuticles with three or so drops of our Nourishing Cuticle Oil.

Step 9. Massage MiniLuxe Citrus or Fresh body cream into your feet to rehydrate your skin.

Step 10. Clean your toenails with rubbing alcohol and then separate toes with spacers or cotton balls to prevent smudging.

Step 11. Apply a thin coat of MiniLuxe Perfect Prime to your toenails and wait for it to dry for at least two minutes.

Step 12. Color your toenails with your favorite MiniLuxe Pure Polish. Wait for the first coat to dry for a minimum of two minutes before applying a second coat.

Pro tip: Make sure to shake the bottle before application, and to keep acetone and a small brush nearby to remove any excess nail polish.

Step 13. Seal your polish with a coat of MiniLuxe Pure Shine.

Step 14. Wait for Pure Shine to dry for five minutes and then apply one to two drops of No Smudge Finisher. This will help shorten drying time, re-moisturize your cuticles and get your feet ’gram-ready!

Step 15: Massage your feet using our MiniLuxe Hydrating Foot Balm as your final touch. The Shea butter keeps them soft and nourished. This quick-drying balm will also extend the life of your pedicure so you’re always sandal-ready.
