Self-Care MiniMoments

5 small and easy empowering habits, no matter how much time you have.

Living life to the fullest doesn’t have to mean setting huge goals. Learning to enjoy the little things, those MiniMoments of your day, will help bring peace and happiness into your chaotic life.

What’s a MiniMoment? It’s a point in your day that brings you happiness, joy or makes you smile. Here are 5 you can practice to elevate your mindset this New Year, no matter how much time you have to spare.

If you have…

30 seconds – Practice self-affirmation

When self-doubt sets in, positive thinking will help you challenge and overcome negative thoughts. You’ve got this, and you know it.

2 minutes – Write down your daily and monthly goals

Setting daily and monthly goals for yourself lets you prioritize and organize your thoughts — and determine what can realistically be accomplished. Did you know that studies have found that you are 42 percent more likely to achieve your goals when you consistently write them down?* It’s time to get started!

5 minutes – Stretch

If you’re stuck at a desk most of the day, stretching is the perfect way to guarantee your body is getting the exercise it needs to work properly. Stretching helps to improve posture and reduces tension in the muscles, improving circulation and ultimately your health. Healthy body. Happy you.

15 Minutes – Meditate

You don’t need to be a Buddhist monk to successfully meditate. Even short, 10-15 minute sessions have been known to help reduce stress and anxiety while simultaneously improving concentration and attention. Make it a daily habit.

30 minutes – MiniLuxe Manicure

For us, there is no better MiniMoment than a MiniLuxe manicure. Our hands can take quite a beating, and taking 30 minutes to relax for pampering can go a long way. When your nails are perfectly polished, something about you just stands a little taller.
