Answers to our most common Questions

1 How do I book a service?
You can make an appointment online by visiting our locations page and choosing your preferred studio. If you’d prefer to book via phone, our Concierge Team is happy to help! Please call (617) 684-2750.
2 Do I need to book in advance?
You are welcome to walk in though we do recommend scheduling in advance if possible. We often fill up quickly and pre-booking your appointment guarantees your mini moment of luxury.
3 How do I book a group (2-4)?
For parties of two to four people, please call our Concierge Team at (617) 684-2750.
4 How do I book a group (4 or more)?
Please complete the Group Booking form to book services for parties of four or more. Whether it’s a bridal shower or a day of R&R, we’re excited to be part of your celebration.
5 Cancellation policy?
New policy as of August 1st* We understand that things come up last minute; in order to serve all our clients, we ask that you contact us by 6pm the evening prior if you need to cancel your appointment. If you need to cancel, please do so online or on the MiniLuxe app by logging into your account or by calling your local MiniLuxe studio. If you need to cancel after 6 pm; you will be charged 50% of your services with the credit card on file. Missed appointments will be charged the full-service amount. Please call us if you are running late; we will do our best to accommodate you upon your arrival.
6 How can I pay for services?
Our CA, RI, and TX studios have gone cashless for services. We accept all major cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and MiniLuxe gift cards. We do not accept checks. You can purchase MiniLuxe gift cards online or at any of our studios. In addition to the above, our MA studios will continue to accept cash for services.
7 How can I pay for gratuity?
Your nail designer or waxing editor prefers cash or Venmo payments for gratuity, however any of the above forms of payment are accepted and appreciated.
8 What types of polish does MiniLuxe offer?
We offer three types of polish for hands and feet: MiniLuxe Pure Polish, Performance Polish, and Gel Polish. Our colors are curated seasonally to reflect the latest runway trends. Learn more about our polish selection on our Services page.
9 MiniLuxe Pure Polish is 8-free. What does that mean?
MiniLuxe Pure Polish is ingredient-conscious without sacrificing quality. Our formula is 8-free, meaning it’s free of the following eight ingredients typically found in nail polish that have been linked to toxicity: Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate), Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, TPHP (Triphenyl Phosphate), Ethyl Tosylamide, and Xylene.
10 What if I already have gel on my nails?
For clients with existing light-setting gel manicures or pedicures, please be sure to book your service with gel removal. This is an additional 15 minute service that ensures we have enough time to remove your gel in the safest way possible. If you do not select gel removal we cannot guarantee your services will be performed in full. Please note we do not remove hard gel (acrylics or dip powder).
11 Do you service or remove acrylic or hard gel?
We aren't able to work with acrylic or hard gel, including dip powder. We strive to perform all services in the safest and healthiest way possible and only remove light-setting soft gels at this time.
12 How can I keep my nails healthy and fresh after leaving the studio?
We recommend applying MiniLuxe Pure Shine two days after your service and MiniLuxe Nourishing Oil as needed. MiniLuxe Nourishing Oil contains a light yet nutrient-rich blend of grapeseed and avocado oil, vitamin E, and pure essential oils, perfect for enhancing nail health regardless of season. MiniLuxe Pure Polish is also great for touch ups when you aren’t near a studio.
13 What if my polish chips?
Our Chip Fix Policy guarantees you a flawless polish application for up to three (3) days for Signature services, five (5) days for Performance services, and seven (7) days for Gel services. If your polish chips within this time, simply call our Concierge Team at (617) 684-2750 to schedule a time to stop in and we’ll take care of the rest. Please note our Chip Fix Policy is not valid at the MiniLuxe Training Studio.
14 Where can I purchase MiniLuxe Pure Polish?
MiniLuxe Pure Polish is available for purchase exclusively in-studio. For a complete list of studios by region, visit our Locations page.
15 What is your return policy?
Retail purchased at full price may be returned for a full refund to the original form of payment up to 14 days from the purchase date. Proof of purchase must be provided at the time of return.
16 Which types of waxing services do you offer?
For a list of waxing services, please visit our Services page. If you are interested in a service and do not see it displayed, please call our Concierge Team at (617) 684-2750. We wax all genders but do not offer male Brazilians at this time.
17 Which types of wax do you use?
We use vegan, hypoallergenic, and fragrance-free hard and soft wax. The type of wax is determined by area size and sensitivity.
18 How long does my hair have to be to receive a waxing service?
Your hair should be at least 1/4” long, approximately the length of a grain of rice.
19 How often should I receive waxing services?
Every 3-5 weeks, depending on your individual hair growth.
20 Can I host an event at MiniLuxe?
Please email us at events@miniluxe.com if you are interested in hosting an in-studio or off-site event.
21 Do you allow pets?
We love our pets but aren’t able to allow them inside the studio per board of health regulations. Service animals are welcome. We appreciate your understanding.
